Handmade Pillow by Jamie Ribisi-Braley of Auburn, ME, this salvaged antique linen cross-stitch sampler has been given a new life as a lavender pillow. The exquisite hand work of the embroidered design stands out in all of its glory and is stuffed with Shaker lavender and recycled Poly-fil; giving your room a fragrant calming effect while also providing comfort as a usable and soft pillow.
Sold individually, you can easily keep the set together and buy both! Made from a single table runner, the fronts feature a beautiful blue peacock with beautiful stitching. Each pillow is backed with a soft sage green homespun linen. 100% of the materials are salvaged, including the thread…only the lavender is new!
Jamie loves to find handmade pieces that need some love and rescue them. This not only reduces our textile waste in landfills, but honors and continues a tradition of handmade fiber art for the household.
