This beautiful tea gets its name from the dry leaf, which resembles gunpowder pellets and explodes into a long leaf on steeping in hot water.

Our tea bag 20 (award winning) cartons are 100% plastic-free, made from recyclable cardboard, with an inner bag crafted from Natureflex—a biodegradable film derived from wood pulp. Each tea bag uses NeoSoilon mesh; created from GMO-free sugar cane. The natural string, and an unlaminated paper tag, all carefully constructed with ultrasound technology to avoid any glue. These can be disposed off in food waste and will fully biodegrade. For our 45-bag packs, we use the lightest recyclable plastic available that keeps the tea fresh; it can be infinitely recycled so please dispose of it responsibly.
